Day 1: Arrival at Tunis, then direction to Bizerta. Visit the ruins of Carthage or bird watching on the wetland of Tunis (it depends on the arrival time). Overnight in a hotel in Bizerta.

Day 2: Visit ot the National Park of Ichkeul (the best known of the Mediterranean wetland, where migrating birds stop on their trip between Europe and Africa). Visit the lake of Sidi Barrak. Overnight in a hotel in Ain Drahim.

Day 3: Visit of the National Park of El Feidja, the Mediterranean Zen and Cork oak forest, which shelters a specific fauna as the Levaillant's Green Woodpecker and the Barbary Deer. Overnight in a hotel in Ain Drahim.

Day 4: Crossing the Tunisian/Algerian border and visit of the National Park of El Kala, world wide classified. This park of international importance with its multiple lakes is classified by the convention of Ramsar.It is known as a restful place for a whole lot of migrating water birds in occidental Meditterranean area. Overnight in a farmer guest house at El Kala.

Day 5: Visit of the historical sites of Annaba and its environment. This town is known for the human trace from the Paleolithic period and the Saint Augustin work's. Overnight in a farmer guest house at El Kala.

Day 6: Bird watching on Fetzara and Mekhada lakes looking for rare birds as the White-headed Duck and the White-tailed Eagle. Overnight in a farmer guest house at Skikda.

Day 7-8: Visit of the National Park of Taza where one third of the Algerian birds are staying, looking for the real endemic bird of Algeria, discovered only in 1973, the Algerian Nuthatch. You will also observe the Tawny Eagle, the Imperial Eagle, the Black-wingek Kite and the Barbary Falcon. Overnight in a farmer guest house in the park.

Day 9: A trip to discover the specific geomorphologic sites of the National Park of Djurdjura as the Tasserafta int the great Kabily, to meet the Barbary Ape, the Bonelli's Eagel and the Lammergeier. Then direction Algiers, the great white city. Overnight in a hotel in Algiers.

Day 10: Visit of the Kasbah of Algiers with its ottoman architecture and the museum of Bardo. Finally direction to the airport of Algiers for a flight to Tunis with connection to Europe.

FROM OCTOBER TO MAY

Departure: One departure each second Saturday of the month.

Price: 2000 EUROS per person from the airport to the airport of Tunis.

Supplement single: 300 EUROS.

The price includes:
The transport by coach and jeep, the plane ticket Algiers-Tunis, hotels 4 or 3 stars in ½ pension in Tunisia and Algiers, overnight in a farmer guest house in Algeria, picnic on the site, legal entrance permit, leaflets, nature guide, office assistance and assurance.
